A live studio recording
The E.P was engineered by Gavin Ralston (Silverwood Music) at The Meadows Studios (Wicklow) – her 8 piece band played live and the magic was captured both on audio and visual mediums. The E.P featuring guest artists, Cathy McEvoy (fiddle) and Don Baker (harmonica on “Queen of the Late Night Radio”). Clara’s collaboration with Don began in 2013 when she was a featured artist on his album “My Songs, My Friends”. She is fresh from a lauded nationwide tour with Don Baker and they are planning future collaborations.
She had a recent successful solo tour of Austria/Switzerland/Italy with the “Celtic Spring Caravan” and will spend the rest of 2014 promoting her new release.

Clara Rose Launches E.P @ Silverwood Music Launch Party
An exciting month as I launch my brand new, LIVE RECORDING of 4 tracks! The E.P is titled “Queen of the Late Night Radio”.
I recorded the E.P in The Meadows Studios with my 7 piece band and special guests, Cathy McEvoy on Fiddle and Don Baker on harmonica. We did the recording “old school” and live – the band are cookin’ and I hope people will enjoy the ‘live’ sound! The session was engineered by Gavin Ralston.
There will be some “pre sales” at my gig in The Cafe Sessions, Chapter One Cafe, Cavan on Thursday 22nd May.
The big launch night is happening on 29th May in The Grand Social at 8pm. There are 4 acts in total on the night who are all part of Silverwood Music (http://silverwoodmusiclabel.com/new/?page_id=103)

Here is my New Song ; ‘Love Sweet Love’ in ‘Kammgarn’, Schaffhausen, Switzerland. I performed this at the closing show of my recent 16 date tour “Celtic Spring Caravan” (22nd March 2014).
This track will be performed at my upcoming gigs in Chapter One, Cafe Sessions – Cavan town on 22nd May and at the E.P Launch Night in The Grand Social on 29th May,

Clara Rose – New E.P on the way!
Fresh from her European tour Clara Rose is set to go around the country for a wee tour in April/May 2014. She is mixing things up a bit – some full band gigs, acoustic solo gigs, 2 piece, 3 piece, some with “Mama Liz” and some guest spots with The Don Baker Band. You never know what might happen!
These gigs will all culminate with the BIG launch party in The Grand Social on 29th May – Clara Rose will perform with her band as part of The Silverwood Label Launch Night – E.P’s will be on sale for the first time on this night!

Clara Rose on Central European Tour: “Celtic Spring Caravan 2014” – this March!
Clara Rose is packing her rucksack and guitar for Central Europe this March and heading for Austria to begin a 3 week tour with the “Celtic Spring Caravan”. This is the 14th Annual Celtic Spring Caravan which takes 3 Irish acts around Austria, Italy and Switzerland. This years acts are:

Clara Rose recording new E.P
Clara Rose and her 8 piece band took to “Easton Studios” (Delgany, Wicklow) for “The Silverwood Sessions” at the end of January to record a new 4 track E.P. In true “old school” style they recorded the full band live in session. The session was also filmed. The E.P will be released with a lead single in the Spring of 2014 which will be available for download. The tracks will also be available in video on youtube and Vimeo.
The live session was engineered by Gavin Ralston (Silverwood Studios) and his trusty crew and the session was filmed by Kerbute Productions and their lovely crew!

Clara Rose – new stuff! new stuff! new stuff!
Clara Rose has an exciting few months coming up with a new video release (in partnership with Odessa Visuals) and then a very interesting recording project planned for January 2014. This will involve her amazing 8 piece band with special guests, all new material and an audio-visual package for Clara Rose fans. This release will be the much awaited follow up to her debut album “A Portfolio” (2010) and hopefully you are as excited about it as she is!

Clara Rose featured on new Don Baker Release
Clara Rose is a featured artist on the new Don Baker album. The album, entitled My Songs, My Friends, will be released on September 6, 2013, on Baker’s own label. The star-studded line-up includes Liam O Maonlai, Brian Kennedy, Gemma Hayes, Finbar Furey, Sinead O’Connor, Eleanor McEvoy, John Spillane, Mick Pyro, Clara Rose, Rob Strong, Pat Collins, Martin Furey, Paddy Casey and Declan O’Rourke. There are also three live bonus tracks recorded by Baker at The Olympia.
Clara Rose sings the special Gospel/Blues style anthem, “Fergus – The Healing Song”. She will also be singing lead vocals with The Don Baker Band on their upcoming tour. The first date of this tour is the 29th September in The Civic Theatre, Tallaght.

Harvest Time Blues Festival 6th – 8th September
This week I’m very excited about 2 shows with my band at the renowned Harvest Time Blues Festival in Monaghan town. We have 2 beautiful afternoon shows on the Saturday and the Sunday and we PROMISE to deliver high quality, toe-tappin, ranchy rootsy blues to take you through the afternoon!
